First select the font and color/gradient you want to use. I used the font 2Peas chunky peanut butter.
Okay, once you added the text, go to adjust>add/remove noise>add noise.
Once it pops up, adjust your settings like mine, you can also play with setting if you want it to look a little bit different.
Here is how it looks(:
Now if you want to add some more effects to it, keep going...create two new documents and fill them, one black and one white.
Now paste the text on the white, and expand the selection by 2.
Cut it, and paste it on the black. Then expand the selection by 1.
Now paste it back onto the orignal document, and go to effects>3D effects>drop shadow.
Now create a new layer, set it behind the layer the text is on, and add a brush, I choose the star.
I also added noise to the star brush to make it match. Now merge the two layers and cut then paste it as a new image, and here you go! (:
